Shannon has been a massage therapist in the Peterborough area since 2004. She graduated with honours from the three year massage program at Fleming College. Peterborough is her hometown and she has been practicing here many years now. She truly loves her job and seeing how massage can have a positive impact in people lives. Through the years, she has continually taken education courses to keep adding to her massage regime. As well as interacting with other health professionals to ensure clients get the top care that they need. She has seen many sports related injuries, pregnancy issues, stress and anxiety related issues, chronic headache/migraines and general sprains and strains. Through massage, she has seen the difference it can make in a clients life. Shannon works with her clients to ensure that they become educated on proper home exercises, so they can maintain their progress in between treatments. She has worked with clients of all ages, from toddlers to 98 year olds! When she’s not working, you can usually find her playing or talking about her three dogs! Finny, Kasey and Tippy! Also, spending time with her family at the trailer during the summer and gardening! Her love of dogs has led her to incorporate canine massage into her practice as of January 2021!
